the Murph

The Murph Challenge was created in 2014 in honor of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy, a SEAL who died in Afghanistan in 2005.

Murphy created the workout that the challenge is known for. Every Memorial Day weekend athletes in CrossFit boxes all over the nation honor his memory by performing the workout to the best of their abilities.
